UNSENT: NO CONTACT TRACKER is an application designed to help you maintain no contact and track your healing journey with your privacy as the absolute priority. This includes our AI assistant, Sage, which is designed to provide empathetic support and guidance during your breakup recovery. We are committed to full transparency regarding our data practices. This privacy policy explains how we handle information in our app.

Data Collection

Your Personal Content is Private

UNSENT does not collect, store, or transmit your contact tracking data, personal journal entries, or private logs to our servers. These stay securely on your device. When you interact with our AI assistant, Sage, data is handled differently as explained below.

Sage AI Assistant Interactions

When you chat with Sage, your messages are processed through OpenAI's ChatGPT API to generate helpful and supportive responses.

  • •Processing: Chat messages are sent to OpenAI servers to generate the AI's response.
  • •No Training: According to OpenAI's API policies, data sent via the API is not used to train their models.
  • •Retention: OpenAI may retain API data for up to 30 days for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes only, after which it is deleted.

What We Don't Collect:

  • •Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • •Journal entries or private logs (unless explicitly shared with Sage)
  • •Device identifiers or unique device information
  • •Location data or GPS coordinates

Data Storage

Your core data is stored securely on your device and in your personal iCloud container:

  • •Data is saved directly to your device's internal storage
  • •Synced securely to your private iCloud container using Apple's CloudKit (if enabled)
  • •We do not have access to your data in CloudKit
  • •Chat history with Sage may be stored locally on your device for your reference

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide and improve our app:

OpenAI (ChatGPT API)

Processes Sage AI chat messages to provide support. Data is not used for model training. View OpenAI API Policies.

Facebook SDK (Meta)

Helps us understand app usage and deliver relevant advertisements. Meta may collect device info and app events. View Meta Privacy Policy.

Firebase Services for Community Forums

We use Firebase, Firestore, and Firebase Realtime Database (provided by Google) to power our community forums feature. When you participate in community forums, the following data is collected and stored:

  • •User profile information: Display name and any profile details you choose to share.
  • •Interaction data: Likes, replies, and engagement with forum content.
  • •Timestamps: When you post or interact with forum content.

Data Security

Since your core app content and journal entries are not collected or transmitted to our servers, that sensitive information remains as secure as your device itself. AI interactions are transmitted via encrypted channels to OpenAI. We minimize risks by keeping your personal content local.

Our app is safe for users of all ages as we do not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
